Who exactly am I?

Vancouver born and raised; Davis grew up closely involved in 2947 RCACC Mechanical and Electrical Engineers Cadet Corp. Although initially being forced to attend every event, the atmosphere grew on him as his life was slowly being shaped by the people around him.

During his early involvement with the corp, Davis learned invaluable lessons on organization, preparedness, and integrity. He would also discover the passion for instructing, during the continuous trial and error with the cadet program. Taken up the passion, he eventually became a certified instructor, teaching numerous classes full of cadets weekly for many years.

“I would go so far as to say that it was my most treasured time with the corp, seeing cadets’ faces lights up when they stepped in to my classroom. It is a fulfilling feeling that never cease to diminish looking back.”

At the same time, the world was being ravaged by the pandemic, he maintained flexibility to provide online coaching, supervising, and workshops for the instructional team. After the hardship of the pandemic, with a new found motivation of growth, he double the instructional team of the corp and raised instructing quality over 2 years.

The journey did not stop after the age-out, he continues demonstrating organizational excellence in University of British Columbia. Currently being a Chassis and Driver’s Control Designer of UBC Baja, he used his skills and passion to coordinate system, organize and allocation space between many complex systems.

There are no excuses to have no hobbies. Squeezing in between studying and design teams, I still find precious time dedicated to activities I enjoy. These include:

Music production, Exercising, Cooking.
